Amazonite (Palmstones)

Palmstones:

Palmstones cover a wide variety of categories: Thumb stones, worry stones, gallets, palm stones and touch stones. Thumb/worry stones are smaller in size and sometimes have an indent on one side to place your thumb. Palm stones are equal in size and proportion, they can be circular or oval shaped and easily fit into an average size palm. Gallets are bigger in size, usually bigger and chunky and less carved, they stay true to their raw form to a large extent. Touch stones are extra large palm stones, almost the size of a free form.

Uses:

palm stones can be held during meditation or divinatory practices.
Palm stones can be an effective fidgeting device during stress bouts that may calm you down and ground you.
Palm stones can be carried in your pocket or purse to attract luck or for protection.
Palmstones can also be kept in the pillowcase to aid in lucid dreaming, to sleep peacefully especially for insomniacs.

Amazonite:
Amazonite is believed to have several metaphysical and healing abilities. Similar to jade, amazonite is associated with money, luck and overall success. It’s known as the gambler’s stone, encouraging good luck and fortune.
Amazonite is said to have a calming effect on the nervous system. Since the nervous system controls our emotions, this stone is said to soothe frazzled nerves and promotes feelings of love and forgiveness, generosity, and kindness. Amazonite is associated with the throat and heart chakras and bestows truth, honor and integrity upon its wearer.
Amazonite is used to treat fatigue, trauma or anything that energetically drains us. Amazonite also heals the thyroid glands and aids in treating alcoholism. It has a gentle and soothing energy that can be beneficial to all.
