Message for the week (16th – 22nd February) 🌹🏵️

The Duat or Underworld is the realm of shadows and death in Egyptian mythology. It is here that the dead go to be judged, by Anubis and Maat. It is depicted hieroglyphically as a star, set within a circle. Within the Duat are lots of different realms, including the Twelve Gates, which are guarded by serpents and demons, so the dead had to overcome these in order to reach their ultimate judgment with Maat and Anubis. The Duat card foretells of a period of difficulty, testing time when your resilience, patience and strength shall be your saviour. But this is also a necessity because as you would face these challenges you would emerge as a better version of yourself. The Empress card however indicates that you will face these challenges head on with the strength, courage, vigour and elegance of the Empress and will emerge victorious. A new you is to rise, this is a time of transformation and no transformation is ever easy.
